BMW Motorrad opened the 2018 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK) with a torrent of awards and a fresh lineup of daring racers last April 21 to 22 at the Batangas Racing Circuit.

Seasoned member Lawrence Macalinao placed 2nd in the Over-all Intermediate Category, while PSBK back-to-back champion Marvin Mangulabnan finished 1st in the Over-all Expert/Open Category.
The team’s new racers then made their riding prowess known, with Richard Sahagun placing 1st in the Over-all Novice Category, Edmon Rebadulla placing 3rd in the Over-all Pirelli Cup Heavyweight B Category, and Allan Sampang placing 5th in the Pirelli Cup Heavyweight A Race 1. While not currently competing in the PSBK 2018, Dwen Manalang also joins BMW Motorrad’s fold.
All members of the BMW Motorrad Racing Team compete onboard the BMW S 1000 RR to match their powerful racing spirit with that of a pacesetter.
